Ger (Yurt) Etiquette蒙古包礼仪
Enter with right foot first. Walk clockwise inside. Don't step on threshold (bad luck). Don't point feet at altar. Accept seat offered by host.右脚先进。室内顺时针行走。不要踩门槛（倒霉）。不要用脚指向祭坛。接受主人安排的座位。
Airag (Mare's Milk)马奶酒
Accept offered fermented mare's milk with right hand. At least sip to be polite. Refusing hospitality is insulting. Use both hands for important items.用右手接受马奶酒。至少小啜以示礼貌。拒绝款待是侮辱。重要物品用双手。
Fire Sacred火神圣
Never throw trash in fire or step over it. Fire is sacred. Don't pour water on fire. Don't stick knives in fire. Central hearth is spiritual center.切勿往火里扔垃圾或跨过火。火是神圣的。不要往火上倒水。不要把刀插火里。中央炉灶是精神中心。
Horses Valued马受重视
Horses central to culture. Ask permission before approaching. Don't walk behind horses. Mongols are skilled riders - respect this heritage.马是文化核心。接近前需征得许可。不要在马后面走。蒙古人是熟练骑手，尊重这一遗产。

Head Respect头部尊重

Nature Respect自然尊重

Photography拍照礼仪
Ask permission before photographing people and inside gers. Some religious sites prohibit photos. Monasteries have rules. Respect privacy.拍摄人物和蒙古包内部前需征得许可。部分宗教场所禁止拍照。寺院有规定。尊重隐私。
Taboos禁忌
Don't whistle indoors (attracts evil spirits). No pointing at rainbows. Don't take food from fire with knife. Number 13 unlucky.不要在室内吹口哨（招邪灵）。不要指彩虹。不要用刀从火中取食物。数字13不吉利。
